Real-time monitoring, automated control

With the new MeatMaster™ II you get the same renowned accuracy of the popular MeatMaster I, but the unit is half the length and is easier to integrate in-line in your production.

MeatMaster is the intelligent way to carry out meat analysis and optimise your meat production. The Meatmaster X-ray system can scan up to 38 tons per hour of fresh, frozen or packed meat and determine fat content and weight with a high accuracy, while also spotting foreign objects.

100% control with X-ray

FOSS X-ray technology gives you unrivalled accuracy whether you are measuring fat content, weight or detecting foreign objects with a density higher than 1.7 g/cm3 (metal, bone, glass etc.). The system scans 100% of the meat in the form of whole cuts, trimmings or minced meat up to 20 cm in height. The meat can be in cartons, plastic trays or loose on the belt, chilled and/or frozen.

FOSS technology reveals the true fat content of ground meat

A major Australian supermarket chain selling over 1.5 million packets of ground meat per week is using FOSS x-Ray analysis technology to guarantee the stated fat content. Measurements made with a FOSS MeatMaster analyser are so accurate that the supermarket has introduced a 5 star rating for products with a fat content of 5% or less.
