Cemotec™ Sample Mill
Benefits (B) and Features (F)
Grinding grains, seeds & pulses without moisture loss.
Accuracy
F: Adjustment of the discs. B: Controls the fineness and uniformity of the grist.
Value
F: Reliable grinding B: Tried and tested principle of one stationary and one turning disc with no loss of moisture.
Value
F: Low maintenance demand B: Less maintenance reduces the running costs and contributes to ease of handling.
Safety
F: High operator safety B: The grinding discs stop working when the grinding chamber is opened, ensuring safe and reliable use.
Working Principle
The Cemotec™ 1090 Sample Mill is specially designed to grind grain and seed samples. The Cemotec is based on a flow-through design for agricultural applications. The grinding is realised between two discs, one stationary and one turning.

The mill is officially approved for sample preparation prior to moisture analysis because no moisture is lost during the grinding.
The Cemotec Sample Mill works silently and effectively at relatively low speed. The grinding rate is approximately 3 g/second and the particle size can easily be adjusted. Low speed means low noise and eventual dust is effectively contained. A low maintenance demand reduces running costs.
No moisture losses
The simple working principle ensures there is practically no movement of air inside the mill, minimising loss of moisture.

The Cemotec Mill works on the tried and tested principle of grinding between two discs, one stationary and one turning. The sample is introduced at the centre of the stationary disc and is crushed between the discs.
