MicroFoss offers ready-to-use vials and a very user-friendly technology. With only minimal training staff perform sampling and analyse samples at any stage of production.

The results are displayed by colour coded monitoring with an alert on samples out of specification. This enables immediate action from production to perform positive release or detect contamination - eliminating the microbial testing as a costly and time consuming bottleneck.

By eliminating the workload on media and equipment preparation, QC of media, dilution procedures, doublet sampling and cleaning procedures, the amount of samples per technician can increase significantly.

MicroFoss™ testing can support a HACCP programme by the automated sampling and filing of required swab samples.

Automated mapping of microbial status at critical control points allows appropriate and cost effective cleaning pro-grammes to be implemented. Results are obtained in hours rather than days - allowing problems to be detected faster and leading to an improved hygiene control in the production.

The MicroFoss system is user-friendly requiring very little time for the user to get acquainted with the system. The insertion of the whole swab into the test vial allows recovery of all organisms present, avoids cross contamination and gives a much better sensitivity than the traditional swabbing method.
